याच दिवशी सचिन अहिर यांनी ठाकरे गटाशी संबंधित भारतीय कामगार सेना आणि बेस्ट कामगार सेना या संघटनांतील आपल्या पदांचा राजीनामा शिवसेना पक्षप्रमुख उद्धव ठाकरे यांच्याकडे पाठवला. आपल्या राजीनामा पत्रात त्यांनी पक्षाने दिलेल्या विश्वासाबद्दल आणि संधीबद्दल आभार मानत, काही अपरिहार्य कारणांमुळे पदांचा राजीनामा देत असल्याचे नमूद केले आहे. Mumbai : A major political development unfolded in Maharashtra on Tuesday as Shiv Sena (UBT) MLA Sachin Ahir filed his nomination for the Deputy Chairman of the Maharashtra Legislative Council with the support of the Shiv Sena led by Eknath Shinde.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister and Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde, and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar were present during the filing of the nomination.
On the same day, Sachin Ahir also resigned from his positions in the Bharatiya Kamgar Sena and BEST Kamgar Sena, organisations associated with the Shiv Sena (UBT). In his resignation letter addressed to Uddhav Thackeray, Ahir thanked the party for the trust and responsibilities entrusted to him, stating that he was stepping down due to unavoidable reasons.
