नाशिक : सिंहस्थ कुंभमेळा-२०२७ दरम्यान लाखो भाविकांना दर्जेदार, तत्पर आणि अखंड आरोग्य सेवा उपलब्ध करून देण्यासाठी शासन, वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालये, खासगी रुग्णालये, वैद्यकीय संघटना आणि सेवाभावी संस्थांनी समन्वयाने काम करणे आवश्यक असल्याचे प्रतिपादन नाशिक-त्र्यंबकेश्वर सिंहस्थ कुंभमेळा विकास प्राधिकरणाचे अध्यक्ष तथा विभागीय आयुक्त डॉ. प्रवीण गेडाम यांनी केले.
जिल्हाधिकारी कार्यालयात सिंहस्थ कुंभमेळा-२०२७ च्या अनुषंगाने आयोजित आरोग्य यंत्रणांच्या आढावा बैठकीत ते बोलत होते. यावेळी प्राधिकरणाचे आयुक्त शेखर सिंह, जिल्हाधिकारी आयुष प्रसाद, जिल्हा शल्यचिकित्सक डॉ. सतीश शिंपी, आरोग्य सेवा उपसंचालक डॉ. कपिल आहेर यांच्यासह विविध वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालयांचे अधिष्ठाता, आयएमएचे पदाधिकारी, वैद्यकीय तज्ज्ञ आणि रुग्णालयांचे प्रतिनिधी उपस्थित होते.
डॉ. गेडाम यांनी कुंभमेळ्यासाठी उभारण्यात येणाऱ्या आरोग्य सुविधांची माहिती सर्व वैद्यकीय संस्था आणि संघटनांना देऊन त्यांचे अभिप्राय घेण्याच्या सूचना दिल्या. त्या सूचनांनुसार आवश्यक सुधारणा केल्यास भाविकांसाठी अधिक सक्षम आणि प्रभावी आरोग्य व्यवस्था उभी राहील, असे त्यांनी सांगितले. भाविकांना उपचारासाठी रुग्णालये सहज उपलब्ध व्हावीत यासाठी आयुष्मान भारत आणि महात्मा फुले जनआरोग्य योजना अंतर्गत सेवा देणाऱ्या रुग्णालयांचे मॅपिंग करण्यात यावे. तसेच प्रत्येक रुग्णालयातील उपलब्ध खाटांची (बेड्स) अद्ययावत डिजिटल माहिती उपलब्ध ठेवण्यावर त्यांनी भर दिला. देशभरातून मोठ्या संख्येने भाविक येणार असल्याने संभाव्य साथीच्या रोगांचा धोका लक्षात घेऊन आरोग्य विभागाने विशेष दक्षता घ्यावी. आपत्कालीन परिस्थिती हाताळण्यासाठी आरोग्य कर्मचाऱ्यांना विशेष प्रशिक्षण देण्यात यावे. तसेच विविध सेवाभावी संस्था आणि आरोग्य संघटनांनी स्वयंप्रेरणेने सहभागी होऊन आरोग्य सेवेत योगदान द्यावे, असे आवाहनही त्यांनी केले.
प्राधिकरणाचे आयुक्त शेखर सिंह यांनी पर्वणीच्या काळात ग्रामीण आणि शहरी भागातील स्थानिक नागरिकांनाही वेळेवर आरोग्य सेवा मिळेल, यासाठी काटेकोर नियोजन करण्याच्या सूचना दिल्या. (Nashik Kumbh 2027 Health Review Meeting)
जिल्हाधिकारी आयुष प्रसाद यांनी सांगितले की, सिंहस्थ काळात सर्व रुग्णालयांचा सहभाग निश्चित करण्यासाठी शासनाने तीन पर्याय निश्चित केले आहेत. सार्वजनिक आरोग्य सुविधा, खासगी रुग्णालयांमार्फत सेवा तसेच नियमित सेवेसोबत अतिरिक्त आरोग्य सुविधा अशा तीन माध्यमांतून भाविकांना सेवा उपलब्ध करून दिली जाणार आहे. तसेच आपत्कालीन रुग्णांसाठी आवश्यक खाटा उपलब्ध राहतील, यासाठीही नियोजन करण्यात येणार असल्याचे त्यांनी स्पष्ट केले.

Nashik : Divisional Commissioner and Chairman of the Nashik-Trimbakeshwar Kumbh Mela Development Authority, Dr. Pravin Gedam, emphasized that coordinated efforts by the government, medical colleges, private hospitals, healthcare organizations, and voluntary institutions are essential to provide uninterrupted, prompt, and quality healthcare services to millions of devotees during Simhastha Kumbh Mela 2027.
Speaking at a health preparedness review meeting held at the District Collector’s Office, Dr. Gedam said that all stakeholders must actively participate in developing and strengthening the healthcare infrastructure planned for the mega religious event.
The meeting was attended by Authority Commissioner Shekhar Singh, District Collector Ayush Prasad, Civil Surgeon Dr. Satish Shimpi, Deputy Director of Health Services Dr. Kapil Aher, deans of medical colleges, IMA office-bearers, healthcare experts, and representatives of various hospitals.
Dr. Gedam directed officials to share details of the proposed healthcare infrastructure with all medical institutions and associations and incorporate their suggestions to make the healthcare system more efficient. He also instructed authorities to map hospitals empanelled under Ayushman Bharat and the Mahatma Phule Jan Arogya Yojana, ensuring that devotees can easily access treatment facilities during the Kumbh.
He further stressed maintaining real-time digital data on hospital bed availability and strengthening disease surveillance, considering the massive influx of pilgrims from across the country. Special training should also be provided to healthcare personnel to effectively handle emergencies, while voluntary organizations should actively contribute to healthcare services during the event.
Authority Commissioner Shekhar Singh highlighted the need for meticulous planning to ensure that local residents in both urban and rural areas continue to receive timely healthcare services during the festival.
District Collector Ayush Prasad informed that the government has finalized a three-model healthcare strategy for the Kumbh Mela. The plan includes government-supported public health facilities, healthcare services through private hospitals, and additional medical services by doctors alongside their routine duties. He also appealed to hospitals to reserve adequate beds for emergency patients during the peak pilgrimage period.
