पुणे : नसरापूर येथील तीन वर्षांच्या चिमुकलीवरील अत्याचार व हत्या प्रकरणात आरोपीला विशेष न्यायालयाने फाशीची शिक्षा सुनावल्यानंतर या गुन्ह्याच्या तपास अधिकारी वरिष्ठ पोलिस निरीक्षक Vijaymala Pawar यांनी तपासादरम्यान अनुभवलेल्या भावनिक क्षणांना उजाळा दिला.
घटनास्थळी प्रथम पोहोचल्यानंतर चिमुकलीचे पार्थिव आणि तिच्यावर झालेल्या अमानुष अत्याचाराची माहिती समोर आली तेव्हा एका आईच्या मनाला प्रचंड वेदना झाल्या. मात्र, त्या भावना बाजूला ठेवून पोलिस अधिकारी म्हणून कर्तव्याला सर्वोच्च प्राधान्य देत तपास निष्पक्ष, वेगवान आणि पुराव्यांच्या आधारे पूर्ण केल्याचे त्यांनी सांगितले. त्यांनी सांगितले की, वैयक्तिक भावना तपासावर प्रभाव पडू न देता प्रत्येक पुरावा बारकाईने तपासण्यात आला. या प्रकरणात सहभागी प्रत्येक अधिकारी आणि कर्मचाऱ्याने चिमुकलीला स्वतःच्या मुलीप्रमाणे समजून अहोरात्र मेहनत घेतली, त्यामुळे तपास निश्चित कालावधीत पूर्ण होऊ शकला. विशेष न्यायालयाने आरोपीला फाशीची शिक्षा सुनावली असली तरी भारतीय नागरिक सुरक्षा संहितेच्या कलम ४०७(१) नुसार या शिक्षेची अंतिम पुष्टी Bombay High Court करणार आहे. आरोपीला शिक्षेविरोधात अपील करण्याचाही कायदेशीर अधिकार आहे. (Vijaymala Pawar Nasarapur Case Investigation)
या प्रकरणात तपास यंत्रणा, सरकारी पक्ष, फॉरेन्सिक तज्ज्ञ आणि न्यायालयीन कर्मचाऱ्यांनी केलेल्या समन्वयाचे विशेष न्यायालयाने कौतुक करत याला “उत्कृष्ट टीमवर्क” असे संबोधले. अवघ्या १६ दिवसांत ५५ साक्षीदारांच्या साक्षी नोंदवत खटल्याची सुनावणी प्रभावीपणे पूर्ण करण्यात आली.

Pune : Senior Police Inspector Vijaymala Pawar, the investigating officer in the Nasarapur rape and murder case involving a three-year-old girl, shared the emotional challenges she faced during the investigation after the special court sentenced the accused to death.
Pawar said that when she first arrived at the crime scene, seeing the victim and learning about the brutality of the crime was heartbreaking for her as a mother. However, she put aside her personal emotions and focused entirely on her duty as a police officer, ensuring that the investigation remained fair, evidence-based and thorough.
She added that every piece of evidence was carefully examined without allowing emotions to influence the investigation. Every officer and staff member involved treated the victim like their own daughter and worked tirelessly to complete the investigation within a short period. Sandeepsing Gill said that the investigation relied on modern technology, scientific evidence and forensic analysis. The police focused on conducting a swift and high-quality investigation to strengthen public confidence in the justice system.
Although the special court has awarded the death sentence, the punishment will be subject to confirmation by the Bombay High Court under Section 407(1) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS). The accused also has the legal right to appeal the verdict.
The special court appreciated the coordinated efforts of the investigation team, prosecutors, forensic experts and court staff, describing the case as an excellent example of teamwork. Statements of 55 witnesses were recorded within just 16 days, allowing the trial to proceed without unnecessary delays.
