नाशिक |: महाराष्ट्र राज्य मार्ग परिवहन (एसटी) महामंडळाच्या नाशिक विभागीय कार्यालयात मोठी प्रशासकीय कारवाई करण्यात आली असून 14 अधिकाऱ्यांना निलंबित करण्यात आले आहे. या कारवाईमुळे विभागात मोठी खळबळ उडाली असून अधिकारी व कर्मचाऱ्यांमध्ये चिंतेचे वातावरण निर्माण झाले आहे.
प्राथमिक माहितीनुसार, निलंबित अधिकाऱ्यांमध्ये क्लास वनचे 3, क्लास टूचे 8 अधिकारी तसेच दोन आगार व्यवस्थापकांचा समावेश आहे. हे सर्व अधिकारी नाशिक विभागातील विविध विभागांमध्ये कार्यरत होते.
10 जून रोजी एसटी महामंडळाच्या मुख्य कार्यालयातून माहिती तंत्रज्ञानाचे महाव्यवस्थापक आणि नियोजन अधिकारी यांच्या दोन सदस्यीय विशेष समितीने नाशिक विभागाची तपासणी केली होती. या तपासणीत अनेक गंभीर अनियमितता आणि कामकाजातील हलगर्जीपणा समोर आल्यानंतर वरिष्ठ स्तरावरून निलंबनाची कारवाई करण्यात आली.
चौकशीत प्रवाशांची गैरसोय, एसटी महामंडळाचे आर्थिक नुकसान, आवश्यक नोंदी न करता खोट्या नोंदी करणे, आर्थिक फायद्याच्या उपाययोजनांकडे दुर्लक्ष, वरिष्ठांच्या सूचनांचे उल्लंघन, स्थानिक खरेदी प्रक्रियेत अनियमितता, अनावश्यक व मनमानी खर्च तसेच कामकाजातील निष्काळजीपणा अशा गंभीर बाबी समोर आल्या आहेत.
या कारवाईमध्ये प्रादेशिक अभियंता, विभाग नियंत्रक, यंत्र अभियंता, विभागीय वाहतूक अधिकारी, वरिष्ठ आगार व्यवस्थापक, लेखा अधिकारी, विभागीय लेखा अधिकारी, विभागीय भांडार अधिकारी, विभागीय कर्मवर्ग अधिकारी, विभागीय अभियंता आणि आगार व्यवस्थापक या पदांवरील अधिकाऱ्यांचा समावेश असल्याची माहिती समोर आली आहे.
महामंडळाच्या वरिष्ठ स्तरावरून निलंबनाचे आदेश जारी करण्यात आले असून संबंधित अधिकाऱ्यांनी आदेश स्वीकारले नाहीत तर त्यांना पोस्टाद्वारे निलंबनाची पत्रे पाठविण्यात येणार असल्याचे सांगण्यात आले आहे.
या कारवाईनंतर शंभरहून अधिक कर्मचाऱ्यांनी अघोषित कामबंद आंदोलन केल्याची माहिती समोर आली आहे. निलंबनाची कारवाई मागे घेण्यासाठी काही अधिकाऱ्यांनी कर्मचाऱ्यांमार्फत दबावतंत्र वापरल्याची चर्चा असून त्यामुळे विभागीय कार्यालयातील कामकाजावरही परिणाम झाल्याचे बोलले जात आहे.
दरम्यान, प्रादेशिक व्यवस्थापक विजय गीते यांनी या कारवाईला दुजोरा दिला आहे. या घटनेमुळे एसटी महामंडळाच्या नाशिक विभागातील प्रशासन आणि कामकाजावर प्रश्नचिन्ह निर्माण झाले असून पुढील चौकशीत आणखी माहिती समोर येण्याची शक्यता आहे.

Nashik : The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) has taken a major disciplinary action by suspending 14 officers from its Nashik Divisional Office. The action has created a stir across the department, leaving employees and officials shocked.
According to preliminary information, the suspended officials include three Class-I officers, eight Class-II officers, and two Depot Managers serving in various departments of the Nashik division.
The action follows a special inspection conducted on June 10 by a two-member committee from the MSRTC Headquarters, comprising the General Manager (Information Technology) and a Planning Officer. The inspection reportedly uncovered serious administrative lapses, negligence, and operational irregularities.
The inquiry revealed several violations, including negligence in official duties, fake and incomplete records, financial irregularities, unnecessary expenditure, failure to implement revenue-generating measures, inconvenience caused to passengers, violation of official instructions, and irregularities in local procurement.
Officials holding positions such as Regional Engineer, Divisional Controller, Mechanical Engineer, Divisional Traffic Officer, Senior Depot Manager, Accounts Officer, Divisional Accounts Officer, Divisional Stores Officer, Divisional Personnel Officer, Divisional Engineer, and Depot Manager are among those suspended.
Sources said that suspension orders have already been issued by the MSRTC headquarters. If any official refuses to accept the order, it will be served through registered post.
Following the action, more than 100 employees reportedly observed an undeclared work stoppage, leading to discussions within the department. It is also being claimed that the protest was intended to pressurize the administration into withdrawing the suspension orders. The development has affected routine functioning at the divisional office.
Regional Manager Vijay Geete has confirmed the suspension action. The incident has raised serious concerns regarding administrative accountability within the Nashik division, and further departmental proceedings are expected.
