नाशिक : सिंहस्थ कुंभमेळ्याच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर नाशिक शहरातील वाहतूक कोंडी कमी करण्यासाठी उभारण्यात येणाऱ्या ६६ किलोमीटर लांबीच्या परिक्रमा मार्ग प्रकल्पाला गती मिळाली आहे. आवश्यक भूसंपादनापैकी सुमारे ५० टक्के प्रक्रिया पूर्ण झाल्याने शासनाने निविदा प्रक्रियेस विशेष मंजुरी दिली आहे. हा महत्त्वाकांक्षी प्रकल्प महाराष्ट्र राज्य पायाभूत सुविधा विकास महामंडळ मार्फत राबविण्यात येणार आहे. भूसंपादनासाठी अंदाजे ३,६५९.४७ कोटी रुपयांचा खर्च अपेक्षित असून, यास नाशिक-त्र्यंबकेश्वर सिंहस्थ कुंभमेळा प्राधिकरण यांनी मान्यता दिली आहे. तसेच, केंद्र सरकारच्या रस्ते मंत्रालयाकडून सुमारे ३,९५४ कोटी रुपयांचा निधी उपलब्ध होणार आहे. साधारणतः मोठ्या प्रकल्पांसाठी १००% भूसंपादन पूर्ण झाल्यानंतरच निविदा काढली जाते. मात्र, कुंभमेळ्याची निकड लक्षात घेऊन शासनाने ५०% भूसंपादनानंतरच निविदा प्रक्रिया सुरू करण्याचा विशेष निर्णय घेतला आहे. त्यामुळे कामांना लवकर प्रारंभ होण्याचा मार्ग मोकळा झाला आहे. (Nashik 66 km Ring Road Project)
ऑक्टोबरमध्ये ध्वजारोहणाने कुंभमेळ्याची औपचारिक सुरुवात होणार असून, त्यानंतर पर्वणी स्नानाच्या काळात लाखो भाविक नाशिक आणि त्र्यंबकेश्वर येथे दाखल होणार आहेत. कुंभमेळ्याच्या मुख्य क्षेत्रातील रस्ते अरुंद असल्याने वाहतूक कोंडीची शक्यता आहे. या पार्श्वभूमीवर परिक्रमा मार्ग अत्यंत महत्त्वाची भूमिका बजावणार आहे.
या मार्गामुळे बाहेरून येणारी जड वाहतूक शहरात न आणता बाह्य वळण मार्गाने वळविणे शक्य होईल. त्यामुळे शहरातील नागरिक आणि भाविक दोघांनाही मोठा दिलासा मिळणार आहे. (Nashik 66 km Ring Road Project)
दरम्यान, भूसंपादन प्रक्रियेदरम्यान काही ठिकाणी स्थानिक शेतकऱ्यांकडून मोबदला आणि मोजणीसंदर्भात आक्षेप नोंदविण्यात आले आहेत. प्रशासनाकडून चर्चेद्वारे तोडगा काढण्याचे प्रयत्न सुरू आहेत.
🚧 आगामी कुंभमेळ्यासाठी उभारत असलेला हा परिक्रमा मार्ग नाशिकच्या विकासाचा नवा टप्पा ठरणार आहे.

Nashik 66 km Ring Road Project
Nashik: In preparation for the upcoming Kumbh Mela, the 66-kilometer Nashik Ring Road project has gained significant momentum. With nearly 50% of the required land acquisition completed, the state government has granted special approval to initiate the tender process.
The project will be implemented by the Maharashtra State Infrastructure Development Corporation. An estimated ₹3,659.47 crore will be spent on land acquisition, while approximately ₹3,954 crore funding is expected from the Union Ministry of Road Transport. The Nashik-Trimbakeshwar Kumbh Mela Authority has approved the financial framework.
Typically, tender processes begin only after 100% land acquisition. However, considering the urgency of the Kumbh Mela, the government has allowed the tender process to begin after 50% acquisition, accelerating the project timeline.
With millions of devotees expected to visit Nashik and Trimbakeshwar during the Kumbh period, traffic management remains a major concern. The new ring road will help divert heavy and outstation vehicles away from the city’s core areas, ensuring smoother movement for residents and pilgrims.
While some local farmers have raised concerns regarding compensation and land measurement, discussions are ongoing to resolve the issues amicably.
The ring road is expected to become a transformative infrastructure milestone for Nashik’s future growth.
