नाशिक : त्र्यंबकेश्वर येथे दर्शन घेऊन परतणाऱ्या तरुणांवर काळाने घाला घातल्याची दुर्दैवी घटना नाशिक-त्र्यंबकेश्वर मार्गावर घडली आहे. दगडांनी भरलेला भरधाव टिपर उलटल्याने बुलढाणा जिल्ह्यातील दोन तरुण पर्यटकांचा जागीच मृत्यू झाला. हा संपूर्ण भीषण अपघात परिसरातील सीसीटीव्ही कॅमेऱ्यात कैद झाला असून, घटनेचे थरारक दृश्य समोर आले आहे.

मिळालेल्या माहितीनुसार, दुपारी साडेतीनच्या सुमारास शिवम राजेश उबेरहांडे (२२, रा. पांगरी उबेरहांडे, जि. बुलढाणा) आणि भूमिका समाधान खेडेकर (२१, रा. अंतरी खेडेकर, जि. बुलढाणा) हे दोघे त्र्यंबकेश्वर येथे दर्शन घेऊन एमएच १५ एवाई ६५ क्रमांकाच्या दुचाकीवरून परतत होते. त्र्यंबकेश्वर गेस्टहाऊसजवळील उतारावरून येणाऱ्या दगडांनी भरलेल्या टिपर चालकाने समोरून चुकीच्या बाजूने येणाऱ्या सिलिंडरने भरलेल्या ‘छोटा हत्ती’ टेम्पोला वाचवण्याचा प्रयत्न केला. अचानक ब्रेक लागल्याने टिपरचा तोल गेला आणि टिपर थेट उलटला. टिपरमधील मोठ्या प्रमाणातील दगड दुचाकीवर असलेल्या दोघांवर कोसळले. या भीषण घटनेत दोघांचाही जागीच मृत्यू झाला. अपघात इतका भीषण होता की घटनास्थळी रक्ताचा सडा पडला होता आणि काही काळ वाहतूक पूर्णपणे ठप्प झाली. घटनेची माहिती मिळताच त्र्यंबकेश्वर पोलिसांनी तत्काळ घटनास्थळी धाव घेतली. जेसीबीच्या मदतीने उलटलेला टिपर बाजूला करण्यात आला. मृतदेह शवविच्छेदनासाठी पाठवण्यात आले असून पंचनामा पूर्ण करण्याची प्रक्रिया पार पडली आहे. त्र्यंबकेश्वर पोलीस ठाण्यात गुन्हा दाखल करण्याची प्रक्रिया सुरू असून पुढील तपास सुरू आहे.

या घटनेमुळे नाशिक-त्र्यंबकेश्वर मार्गावरील वाहतूक सुरक्षेचा प्रश्न पुन्हा एकदा ऐरणीवर आला आहे. भरधाव वेग, अवजड वाहनांचे नियमबाह्य वाहनचालक आणि चुकीच्या बाजूने वाहने चालवणे यामुळे निष्पाप नागरिकांचे जीव जात असल्याचे चित्र पुन्हा स्पष्ट झाले आहे.

Nashik: A tragic accident occurred on the Nashik–Trimbakeshwar road as two young tourists lost their lives after a stone-laden tipper overturned. The victims were returning after offering prayers at Trimbakeshwar temple when the fatal incident took place. The entire incident was captured on a nearby CCTV camera, revealing the horrifying moments of the accident.

According to preliminary information, the accident occurred around 3:30 PM near the Trimbakeshwar Guest House. The deceased have been identified as Shivam Rajesh Uberhande (22), resident of Pangri Uberhande, Buldhana district, and Bhumika Samadhan Khedekar (21), resident of Antari Khedekar, Buldhana district. Both were travelling on a motorcycle bearing registration number MH 15 AY 65.

A tipper carrying stones was coming downhill at high speed. The driver suddenly applied brakes while trying to avoid a cylinder-loaded ‘Chhota Hathi’ tempo coming from the wrong side. As a result, the tipper lost balance and overturned. Stones from the vehicle fell directly onto the motorcycle riders, killing both on the spot.

Upon receiving information, Trimbakeshwar police rushed to the spot. With the help of a JCB, the overturned tipper was removed and traffic was restored. The bodies were sent for post-mortem examination and a panchnama has been completed. The process of registering a case is underway at Trimbakeshwar Police Station, and further investigation is ongoing.

This incident once again highlights the dangers of overspeeding, negligent driving, and wrong-side traffic on busy pilgrimage routes, raising serious concerns about road safety in the Trimbakeshwar area.
