नाशिक रोड – पुणे मार्गावरील सिन्नरफाटा परिसरात सुरक्षा रक्षकावर स्क्रू ड्रायव्हरने हल्ला करून खिशातील रोकड चोरून नेणाऱ्या अट्टल गुन्हेगाराला नाशिकरोड पोलिसांनी अवघ्या काही मिनिटांच्या पाठलागानंतर पकडले आहे.
युवराज सुनिल साळुंखे (वय २१, रा. अंबर सोसायटी, मखमलाबाद) असे या आरोपीचे नाव असून त्याच्या दोन अल्पवयीन साथीदारांनाही पोलिसांनी ताब्यात घेतले आहे. (Nashik Road Security Guard Attacked With Screw Driver)
३० ऑक्टोबर रोजी पहाटे साडेचारच्या सुमारास सिन्नरफाटा येथील महाराष्ट्र माझा हॉटेल येथे सुरक्षा रक्षक प्रकाश विष्णू बच्छाव (वय ५२) हे ड्युटीवर असताना मोटारसायकलवरून तिघेजण आले. त्यांनी स्क्रू ड्रायव्हरने डोक्यात वार करत त्यांना गंभीर जखमी केले आणि खिशातील १६०० रुपये जबरदस्तीने चोरून नेले.
घटनेनंतर नाशिकरोड पोलिस ठाण्यात गुन्हा दाखल करण्यात आला होता. त्यानंतर गुन्हे शोध पथकाने गस्त घालत असताना संशयास्पद हालचाल करणारे तिघेजण मोटारसायकलवरून जाताना दिसले. पोलिसांनी त्यांना थांबवून विचारपूस केली असता, एका आरोपीच्या शर्टवर रक्ताचे डाग आढळले. पोलिसांना पाहून तिघे पळून जाण्याचा प्रयत्न करत होते, मात्र पोलिसांनी एक किलोमीटरपर्यंत पाठलाग करत त्यांना पकडले. प्रमुख आरोपी युवराज साळुंखे हा अट्टल गुन्हेगार असून त्याच्यावर शहर आणि जिल्ह्यात अनेक गुन्हे दाखल आहेत. त्याच्याकडून मोटारसायकल, चोरीची रक्कम आणि स्क्रू ड्रायव्हर जप्त करण्यात आला आहे.
