नाशिक : आगामी २०२६-२७ या आर्थिक वर्षासाठी नाशिक महापालिका प्रशासनाने सादर केलेल्या अंदाजपत्रकात मोठी वाढ होण्याची शक्यता व्यक्त केली जात आहे. प्रशासनाने सादर केलेल्या तीन हजार ११ कोटी रुपयांच्या अंदाजपत्रकात आता नगरसेवकांकडून मोठ्या प्रमाणावर विकासकामांचे प्रस्ताव येऊ लागल्याने अंदाजपत्रक जवळपास २५० ते ३०० कोटी रुपयांनी वाढण्याची शक्यता निर्माण झाली आहे. महापालिका आयुक्त मनिषा खत्री यांनी २ मार्च रोजी सिंहस्थकेंद्रित ३ हजार ११ कोटी रुपयांचे वार्षिक अंदाजपत्रक स्थायी समिती सभापती मच्छिंद्र सानप यांच्याकडे सादर केले होते. या अंदाजपत्रकावर चर्चा करण्यासाठी स्थायी समितीची बैठक शुक्रवार (६ मार्च) रोजी सकाळी दहा वाजता आयोजित करण्यात आली आहे. याच दिवशी शहरातील रस्त्यांवरील खड्डे आणि अनियमित पाणीपुरवठा या मुद्द्यांवर विशेष महासभाही बोलावण्यात आली आहे.
दरम्यान, स्थायी समितीकडे अंदाजपत्रक सादर झाल्यानंतर समिती सदस्य आणि नगरसेवकांकडून आपल्या-आपल्या प्रभागातील विकासकामांचा समावेश करण्यासाठी मोठ्या प्रमाणात प्रस्ताव दाखल करण्यात येत आहेत. त्यामुळे प्रशासनाने मांडलेले ३०११ कोटी रुपयांचे अंदाजपत्रक आणखी फुगण्याची शक्यता व्यक्त केली जात आहे.
प्रशासनाच्या मते या अंदाजपत्रकात सुमारे २ हजार ५४१ कोटी रुपये उत्पन्न अपेक्षित असून १ हजार ११६ कोटी रुपये भांडवली कामांसाठी तर १ हजार ४२४ कोटी रुपये महसुली खर्चासाठी नियोजित करण्यात आले आहेत. महसुली खर्चामध्ये कर्मचाऱ्यांचे वेतन, पेन्शन, भविष्यनिर्वाह निधी आणि इतर आर्थिक लाभ यांचा मोठा वाटा असून त्याची रक्कम जवळपास ८५० कोटी रुपये आहे. आता भांडवली कामांसाठी राखीव असलेल्या निधीत नगरसेवकांनी सुचवलेल्या विविध कामांचा समावेश होणार असल्याने खर्चात मोठी वाढ होण्याची शक्यता आहे.
दरम्यान काही प्रस्तावांनी प्रशासनाचेही धाबे दणाणले आहेत. प्रभाग क्रमांक ८ मधील नगरसेविका अंकिता शिंदे यांनी आपल्या प्रभागासाठी तब्बल ३०० कोटी रुपयांची विकासकामे सुचवली आहेत. त्यानंतर नगरसेवक विशाल संगमनेरे यांनीही जवळपास तेवढ्याच किमतीचे प्रस्ताव सादर केल्याची माहिती समोर आली आहे.
अर्थात सर्व प्रस्ताव जसेच्या तसे मंजूर होतीलच असे नाही. मात्र प्रस्तावांच्या आकड्यांमुळे प्रशासनासमोर नियोजनाचे मोठे आव्हान उभे राहिले आहे. (Nashik Municipal Corporation Budget 2026)
नाशिक महापालिकेचे अंतिम अंदाजपत्रक प्रशासनाच्या मूळ आराखड्यानुसार अंमलात येणार की नगरसेवकांच्या वाढीव मागण्यांमुळे ते आणखी फुगणार, याकडे आता शहराचे लक्ष लागले आहे.
शहर विकासाच्या नावाखाली कोटींची उलाढाल की खरोखरच विकासकामांची गरज — याचा हिशेब येत्या अंदाजपत्रक बैठकीत स्पष्ट होणार आहे.

Nashik: The annual budget of the Nashik Municipal Corporation for the financial year 2026-27 may see a significant increase as corporators have submitted a large number of development proposals after the budget was presented.
The civic administration had presented a budget of ₹3,011 crore, but due to proposals submitted by corporators for various development works in their wards, the budget may increase by ₹250–300 crore.
Municipal Commissioner Manisha Khatri presented the Sinhast-focused annual budget to Standing Committee Chairman Machhindra Sanap on March 2. A meeting of the standing committee has been scheduled on Friday (March 6) to discuss the budget.
On the same day, a special general body meeting will also be held to discuss issues such as potholes on roads and irregular water supply in the city.
After the budget was presented, standing committee members and corporators started submitting proposals to include various development works in their respective wards. As a result, the overall budget is likely to expand beyond the originally proposed ₹3,011 crore.
According to the administration, the budget estimates ₹2,541 crore in revenue, while ₹1,116 crore has been earmarked for capital works and ₹1,424 crore for revenue expenditure. A major portion of the revenue expenditure includes staff salaries, pensions, provident fund contributions, and other financial benefits, totaling around ₹850 crore.
Now, additional development proposals from corporators are expected to be included in the capital works allocation, which could significantly increase the total budget.
Some proposals have also raised concerns within the administration. Corporator Ankita Shinde from Ward No. 8 has reportedly proposed development works worth ₹300 crore for her ward alone. Similarly, corporator Vishal Sangamnere has also submitted proposals of nearly the same value.
While not all proposals may be approved as submitted, the sheer scale of these demands has created challenges for the administration’s financial planning.
Whether the final municipal budget will follow the administration’s original framework or expand significantly due to corporators’ demands will become clear in the upcoming standing committee discussions.
The upcoming budget debate will reveal whether these crores are truly meant for development or merely political proposals on paper.
