आर्या मोरे – आज पॉवरलिफ्टिंग क्षेत्रात ओळख निर्माण करणारे नाव.
या यशामागे आहेत तिचे आई-वडील – श्री. सुनील सिद्धार्थ मोरे आणि सौ. प्रिया सुनील मोरे, जे स्वतः पॉवरलिफ्टिंग व बॉडीबिल्डिंग क्षेत्रात सक्रिय आहेत.

आर्याचं बालपण एका मजबूत पुरुषासोबत आणि एका मजबूत महिलेला वजन उचलताना पाहत गेलं. हेच दृश्य तिच्या आयुष्याची दिशा ठरवणारे ठरले. (Arya More Powerlifting Journey)

लहानपणी आई-वडिलांची इच्छा होती की आर्या क्रिकेटपटू व्हावी. त्यामुळे तिने क्रिकेट अकॅडमीत प्रवेश घेतला. त्यानंतर नृत्य, कराटे असे अनेक पर्याय आजमावले, पण कुठेही मन रमत नव्हतं. (Arya More Powerlifting Journey)

मात्र जेव्हा रोज आई-वडिलांना मेहनतीने वजन उचलताना पाहायची, तेव्हा आर्या मोरेच्या मनात एक विचार ठाम व्हायचा —

११ वर्षे ११ महिने वयाची असताना आर्याने बाबांना सांगितलं की तिला प्रमाणित पर्सनल ट्रेनर व्हायचं आहे. IFSA अकॅडमीचा डेमो लेक्चर अटेंड केल्यानंतर तीन दिवस विचार करून तिने निर्णय घेतला — हेच माझं भविष्य आहे.

आठवड्यातून तीन वेळा क्लासेस, सातत्यपूर्ण सराव आणि प्रचंड मेहनत — सुरुवातीचा काळ कठीण होता, पण आर्या मोरेने कधीही हार मानली नाही. (Arya More Powerlifting Journey)

यानंतर सुरू झाला आर्या मोरेचा पॉवरलिफ्टिंगचा खरा प्रवास. (Arya More Powerlifting Journey)

४३ किलो वजनी गटात ३ एप्रिल २०२२ रोजी तिने पहिली पॉवरलिफ्टिंग स्पर्धा खेळली.
२८ व २९ मे २०२२ रोजी सोनीपत (हरियाणा) येथे झालेल्या राष्ट्रीय स्पर्धेत आर्या मोरेने पहिला क्रमांक पटकावला.

२ एप्रिल २०२३ – ठाणे येथे पहिली Strong Woman Championship
२७–२८ मे २०२३ – डेडलिफ्ट व बेंच प्रेसमध्ये दुसरी Strong Woman Championship
१३ ऑगस्ट २०२३ – भुसावळ येथे तिसरी Strong Woman Championship

यानंतर यशाची मालिका सुरूच राहिली – (Arya More Powerlifting Journey)

२०२५ मध्येही आर्याचा विजयाचा प्रवास सुरूच आहे – (Arya More Powerlifting Journey)
२६ जानेवारी, १३ एप्रिल, ३ मे, १६ ऑक्टोबर, १६ नोव्हेंबर — प्रत्येक स्पर्धेत स्वतःला सिद्ध करणारी आर्या मोरे आज अनेक मुलींसाठी प्रेरणा ठरत आहे.

आर्याचं सर्वात मोठं स्वप्न म्हणजे भारतासाठी खेळणं आणि आपल्या कुटुंबाचा अभिमान वाढवणं.
तिचं दुसरं स्वप्न म्हणजे यशस्वी Sports Physiotherapist बनणं.

या प्रवासात तिला लाभलेले मार्गदर्शक, प्रशिक्षक, फिटनेस इंडस्ट्रीतील दिग्गज, सामाजिक व राजकीय क्षेत्रातील मान्यवर — सगळ्यांचा तिच्या यशात मोलाचा वाटा आहे.

आर्या मोरे कॅलिस्थेनिक्सही करते. Califit चे संस्थापक श्री. विकी सर यांनी तिच्यावर दाखवलेल्या विश्वासाबद्दल ती कायम ऋणी आहे.

Arya More Powerlifting Journey

Arya More is a rising name in Indian powerlifting and a true symbol of strength, discipline, and determination. Born into a family deeply connected to fitness and strength sports, Arya grew up watching her parents train every day. Her father, Mr. Sunil Siddharth More, is a powerlifter and bodybuilder, while her mother, Mrs. Priya Sunil More, is also a powerlifting athlete. Seeing a strong father and an equally strong mother inspired Arya from a very young age.
During her early years, Arya explored several activities. Her parents initially wanted her to pursue cricket, and she even joined a cricket academy. Later, she tried dance and karate, but none of these paths gave her the satisfaction she was searching for. Deep inside, she felt drawn toward strength training and powerlifting.
At the age of 11 years and 11 months, Arya decided to take her passion seriously and expressed her desire to become a certified personal trainer. She attended a demo lecture at IFSA Academy, took time to reflect, and then made a firm decision to move forward in the fitness field. She began attending classes three times a week. The initial phase was challenging, requiring focus, discipline, and patience, but Arya remained committed and completed her training successfully.
Her competitive powerlifting journey began on 3rd April 2022, when she participated in her first competition in the 43 kg weight category. Her breakthrough moment came on 28th and 29th May 2022, when she won first place at the National Powerlifting Championship in Sonipat, Haryana. This victory marked the beginning of a remarkable competitive career.
In April 2023, Arya won her first Strong Woman Championship in Thane. She continued her winning streak by securing her second Strong Woman title in Deadlift and Bench Press in May 2023, followed by her third Strong Woman Championship in Bhusawal in August 2023. Alongside these achievements, she also excelled at the state level, competing in Sub-Junior and Junior categories.
On 20th December 2023, Arya More achieved another major milestone by winning a National Gold Medal in Uran. The year 2024 became a turning point in her career, as she won two Strong Woman Championships, earned the Overall Strong Woman Champion title, and secured the National Gold Medal once again.
Her success continued in 2025, with multiple championship victories across the year, proving her consistency and dedication to the sport. Even today, Arya’s journey is ongoing, driven by her passion for excellence and continuous self-improvement.
Arya’s ultimate dream is to represent India at the international level and bring pride to her family and country. Alongside her athletic career, she aspires to become a successful sports physiotherapist, using her knowledge and experience to help other athletes. She also practices calisthenics and remains grateful to all the coaches, mentors, and supporters who have guided her throughout her journey.
Arya More’s story is not just about medals and championships. It is a powerful reminder that with dedication, discipline, and belief, young girls can break barriers and build their own path to success.
